Overview of the ARCHER2 system and modules

This learning pathway consists of 3 modules:

  • The Unix Shell
  • Introduction to the Slurm workload manager
  • ARCHER2 system and modules

The first module consists of one course about the Unix Shell.

The second module, Introduction to the Slurm workload manager, can be completed by following either of these options:

  • Read through the description of the commands in the ARCHER2 user guide or
  • Run through a practical introduction on the Slurm scheduler

Note that even though we use the ARCHER2 documentation, most of this information will be valid for any HPC system that uses Slurm.

The third module, ARCHER2 system and modules, can be completed by following either of these options:

  • Read through the ARCHER2 user guide or
  • Run through a practical about the ARCHER2 system and modules
